delete images from header library

How do I remove a header picture from the randomly rotating image selection?
Also can I choose which header appears on each page?
    Thank you!

    a) There’s no separate “header library”: all the images you have uploaded to your blog are found in Media > Library. That’s where you go to delete an image, no matter where the image is used or if it’s used at all.
    b) On Adventure Journal, yes – as long as you mean static pages (such as your About etc). Dynamic pages will always display the regular header image you upload/select in Appearance > Header. To display an alternative header image on a static page, you edit the page and set a featured image to it.
If you’re not seeing the Featured image module while on the page editor screen, you click Screen Options (top right) and check the option to make it show up.
Naturally, the images have to be in the pixel dimensions the theme requires for header images (or larger, if you don’t mind the cropping).

Dear All, how can I remove from the initial screen this:

    ——
Error 404 – Page not found!

The page you trying to reach does not exist, or has been moved. Please use the menus or the search box to find what you are looking for.
    ——
I can create new pages but this bloody error message remain on the main screen. Is it a mistake?

    Thank you for your help?

By default, your blog front displays your latest posts. You’re getting the error message because you deleted the sample “Hello World” post, so the front has nothing to display. Once you publish a post it’ll be back to normal. If you want a welcome page instead of your latest posts, you create that page in Pages > Add New, then you go to Settings > Reading and set your front to display that page.

PS Your question has nothing to do with onestbeau’s question. In the future please search the forum first (this particular question of yours has been answered countless times), and if you don’t find the answer start your own thread.
