Delete Jet Set

I followed all the steps in order to get rid of Jet Set but it did not work. I want it gone as I haven’t even installed it in the first place. Chris.

Sorry, its called Jetpack not Jet set … anyhow … and shows up on the bottom of the page … when I comment on one of my wordpress friends posts, it lets me write the comment, but when I click “send” it says, that I am sending this from my gmail address and asks asks me to send the comment from my msn address, which I always do anyways … I never changed anything and did not subscribe to this Jetpack thing … I am still able to add my avatar pic to my friends posts … so at least they know, that I was there … I di check with AVG virus protection thing and scanned the computer for a possible virus, but AVG says: No malware detected. Thank you so much for responding. cat.

So the issue here is that when you try to comment on a site, it’s asking you to log in, and when you do that it doesn’t work?
This has nothing to do with Jetpack, which is the name of the WordPress.com feature that controls how commenting on WordPress.com sites work, but it has everything to do with your browser. If this happens it means we are not able to detect that you are logged into your WordPress.com account when you try to comment.
Please clear your browser cache and cookies, and then make sure that third party cookies are enabled in your browser. If you are using any browser add-ons like ad blockers, anti-tracking plugins, or antivirus extensions, make sure that those are also not blocking third party cookies.
If that does not help, please reply with the exact process you are following, step by step, including any email addresses you enter along the way (they will be hidden automatically when you type them into a forums). Also include links to the specific sites where this is happening, and the exact text of any error messages or onscreen notices you see.
