delete marisaporter.wordpress.com, change wearyourvitamins.com to marisaporter

I need to get rid of marisaporter.wordpress.com so I can change my other blog (wearyourvitamins.com) to that address. Then I’ll need to upgrade the address of course, to marisaporter.com (a name I own).
But when I try to change wearyourvitamins.com to marisaporter.com or marisaporter.wordpress.com, it says the address is already taken.
And when I try to delete it, it says, you can never undo this delete and the name marisaporter.wordpress.com will be gone forever and ever and nobody will be able to ever use it or get it back and this is completely permanent.

ps. Once I get wearyourvitamins.com url and name changed to marisaporter.com, I will want to redirect ALL wear your vitamins links for ALL content to marisaporter.com. I believe this is called a site redirect and will cost $13 a year.

Currently, here’s what you have:
URL wearyourvitamins.wordpress.com with domain http://marisaporter.com/
URL marisaporter.wordpress.com with a site redirect to the other site
Which site’s content do you want to use marisaporter.com with?
Do you want to use that domain with the content that’s currently on wearyourvitamins.wordpress.com but you just want the underlying URL to match the custom domain?
If so, it’s not possible to switch URLs around (as opposed to domains), so what you’d need to do is: (1) empty marisaporter.wordpress.com (or export its content to another site and then empty it); (2) import the content currently on wearyourvitamins.wordpress.com to marisaporter.wordpress.com; (3) move domain marisaporter.com to marisaporter.wordpress.com; and (4) set up a site redirect on wearyourvitamins.wordpress.com.
Frankly, if I were you, I’d just leave things as is, since the underlying URL doesn’t show for anyone but you anyway and so doesn’t really matter.
If I haven’t understood what your ultimate goal is, could you please describe a bit more how you want things to be at the end of it all? I’m happy to help you figure out the easiest way to go about it! :)

I have wearyourvitamins.com changed to marisaporter.com. I just bypassed the marisaporter.wordpress.com part. It wasn’t necessary like I thought.
If I could have one more question answered, it would be – if I find I made a mistake how hard is it to switch back to wearyourvitamins.com (is it the same process as what I just went through), and do you know how these changes effect SEO?

Hi there – Currently, both of those domains (wearyourvitamins.com and marisaporter.com) are pointed at the same blog, so you can switch back and forth between them as often as you want, as long as you don’t let either one expire. Since they’re all pointing to the same content, changing that won’t affect your SEO.
For example, if one of your posts got indexed highly by Google while marisaporter.com was primary, and you then set wearyourvitamins.com to primary again, since they’re both pointed at the same content, the marisaporter.com permalink in Google will still just redirect to the same post at wearyourvitamins.com. Does that make sense?
If you wanted to move one of the domains to one of your other blogs, then that would be different.
Do you still want that site redirect on marisaporter.wordpress.com?

I think everything is great and I can’t believe it all worked out.
When you say redirect – I redirected marisaporter.wordpress.com to marisaporter.com because there were a few blog posts that that I moved over. Is that the redirect you are talking about?
All old blogs are directed to marisaporter.com.
Nothing new needs to be added (redirects or otherwise) that I can see.
