  • Hi there. When I click that link I get a 404 error – file not found, so it has been deleted from WordPress.com’s servers, along with your blog.

The image you see when you do an image search is on Google’s own servers. In fact, you’ll probably see that image also when you search via Yahoo, Bing and a bunch of other search engines as they all create cached copies of your site when they index it. Some search engines clear those caches every few months while others never delete it. WordPress.com has no control over this, I’m afraid.

You can try contacting each respective search engine to request they remove that content from their cache, but it may be more effort than it’s worth, especially as they are under no obligation to delete it. To have it removed from Google specifically you can try here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1663419?hl=en I don’t know the procedure to have it removed from other search engines.
