  • Hi,

    Welcome to blogging!

Your site address is: sundancer293760146.wordpress.com, so that is the link you can give to your friends to view your blog.

You can change your Menu in the Customizer. To access the Customizer, click on My Sites and then scroll down to the Personalize section and click Customize. Then do the following:

    1. Click the Menus option
    2. Select the Primary Menu and you will see the Home, About, and Contact options in your menu.
    3. If you want to delete the entire menu, you can click the Delete Menu link at the bottom.
    4. If you only want to delete an option, then select the option by clicking its down arrow and then scroll to the bottom of the option’s settings and click the Remove link
    5. Be sure to click the blue Publish button to save your changes.

This support article has more details about adding, editing and removing menu items:

If you have published two or more posts, there should be a Follow button in the bottom right corner of your site, but, you can also add a customizable Follow Blog widget by going back to the Customizer and doing the following:

    1. Select the Widgets option.
    2. Select the location of the Widget (i.e., Sidebar)
    3. Click the Add a Widget button to see all of the available widgets
    4. Find the Follow Blog widget and click it to add it to your Sidebar.
For more information about the Follow Blog widget and its options, see this support article: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/follow-blog-widget/
    5. Click the blue Publish button to save your changes.

Also, if you are interested, It looks like your site is using the Twenty Sixteen theme, so here is a link where you can find out more about other things you can do to customize your theme:

Many thanks. Very helpful. One other quick item. For some reason, I have two sites running. The one sited above plus this one which I want to delete. How might I do that. It gets in the way.

  • Hi Bob,

You can delete a site from your Settings page. Click on My Sites and be sure you are looking at the dashboard of the site that you want to delete. Then scroll down to the Configure section and select Settings The Delete your site permanently option is at the bottom of the General tab.
