delete meta menu item and uncategorised menu item

  I am using the Anthem theme and would like to delete the meta menu item and uncategorised menu item. I have searched but can’t find a way to do this?

  I have also tried unsuccessfully to delete my name as the author on each post (or at least not make it a pointless link).

  Any help would be appreciated. My site is http://www.brett.co.nz

  Are you referring to the items in your footer area? If so, you can go to Appearance -> Widgets to to remove the Meta and Category widgets from the footer widget area.

  To remove the author names on your posts you can go to Appearance -> Theme Options. Then click on Post Display and put a checkmark by “Hide author on posts”
