  Accounts cannot be deleted, only the blogs created in your account. Here’s a link to the relevant support doc: http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  While you cannot delete your account here on WordPress.com (to prevent someone from impersonating you in the future), follow these instructions from timethief, another forum volunteer, and then you can simply walk away from it: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/delete-account-276?replies=2#post-1681030
