Can someone please tell me how to delete this account? I want to delete it, not erase everything and ignore it. I want it deleted. Everytime I sign in somewhere with my email address, this stupid account and stupid Gravitar account pop up. I want RID. I actually think it’s pretty disgusting that it can’t be directly and easily deleted.

A wordpress.COM account and a Gravatar account are one in the same thing. Both are owned by Automattic Inc.

1. Make sure your email address is correct here please https://wordpress.com/me/account or update it.

Accounts cannot be deleted so we cannot be impersonated by anyone registering and using the same username in the future. Also note that Automattic Inc. owns wordpress.COM and also many other products and services listed here https://automattic.com/ that do require a wordpress.COM account. Therefore, account deactivation is provided and account deletion is not provided.
