  It seems that your site still retained some of the features of the Creator Trial plan it used to have. That’s why you could not delete it.

  I have reverted your site, and now you can delete the site by clicking on the Delete your site permanently button at the bottom of this page: https://wordpress.com/settings/general/jovial-tina9f8a7c7b41b.wordpress.com

  After that, you’ll be able to close your account by using the Close your account permanently button at the bottom of this page: https://wordpress.com/me/account
