Delete my account

    Hi,

    I would like to delete my account completely. Despite the quality of WordPress, it is unfortunate how it makes it so difficult for one to delete one’s account as it is in one’s rights of dissociation.

    Please help me delete my account.

    Hi Morgan,
    That is something you have to do it yourself, because WordPress staff do not delete accounts. However, i must inform you that WordPress.COM accounts cannot be deleted permanently once created.

    But if you still wish to deactivate your account and leave WordPress, you can follow the instructions given here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

    IMPORTANT NOTE:
    Even if you deactivate your account your username is not removed from the database, so that it’s not available to any other users when they are registering for a new account. This is done to keep you from being impersonated by anyone else.
