Delete my account

  Hi There,
  Please could you help me delete my site- and remove me from this web page. Its frustrating that it isn’t easier to do this, and I think its something WordPress could really improve upon. It shouldn’t be hard to leave?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  It is not possible to close a WordPress account, however you can delete all the data that is stored in your account. If there is an issue with your account or your blog we would be happy to assist you with having that resolved.

  If you are certain that you would like to leave WordPress.com, we completely understand. You can easily empty and delete your site. Once this is done remove all personal information from your Account Settings and change your password to a random string. This will leave your account inactive and prevent you from gaining access to it in the future.

  WordPress.com is unable to empty and delete your site for you, you will need to log into your account and follow the steps.
