  Hello dostres23,

  WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted.

  You can find a detailed guide on what you can do with your account if you wish to leave WordPress.com, here: support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).

  If you really want to delete your blog, I would recommend you to read this official support article first, carefully: support.wordpress.com/delete-site
