  WordPress.com is unable to delete user accounts. https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  Accounts cannot be deleted for your own privacy protection. Preventing someone from registering and using the same username in the future, impersonating you. Automattic Inc. owns WordPress.com and other products (https://automattic.com/) that do require a WordPress.com account. This is why you may inactivate your account but no fully delete it.
