Delete my blog

  I want to delete my blog. If I go to Tools > – I can only choose -Delete Site… and then it tells me I cant delete it but i dont understand why. I do not wish an explanation to this, I simply just dont want the blog ‘fogcd.wordpress.com’ anymore. Please help me?

  Hi,

  I realize that you clearly said “I do not wish an explanation to this”, but I really have to give you one. Otherwise the blog cannot be deleted.

  To delete your site with a custom domain upgrade, you’ll need to do one of the following:

  – move the domain upgrade to another WordPress.com site

  – transfer the domain registration to another domain registrar

  – fully cancel the domain (you will lose the ownership of the domain and there is no guarantee you can register it again)

  After the custom domain is unlinked from the site, you can use the site deletion tool to permanently remove the site. Here’s a bit more information about that:

  Please make sure to read the warnings and advice before deleting a site. We can’t revert the deletion of a site for any reason.
