Add topic to favorites
I deleted my blog and it’s still showing my last posts etc. how can I delete it once and for all?
When I get into my settings it says start a new blog.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

To delete a free hosted WordPress.COM blog you must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered a blog to delete the blog. To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click.

Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

Alternatively, to change blog visibility to private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3 . See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

Your third option is to delete the content in the site, retain the URL and fill the site with new content. http://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

i have no access except to create a new blog option, to view my subscribers and no way or link to delete the full blog

Provide you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered that blog you ought to be able to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site

I’ve gotten to my navigation with ease in the past but not currently.

Thank you for the help.. I will also say that I have a wordpress.org account and maybe some kind of crossing with both sites may have something to do with it?

On April 22 it looks like you changed the blog owner to a similar, but ultimately different, WordPress.com username. While you, as user gingercarter, created the blog at gingercarter.wordpress.com, you are not listed as either the blog owner or even as a user on the blog any longer.

If you log out of gingercarter and log in using the new username/email address you used for the new blog owner, you should be able to access the blog and delete it if you choose to do so.

Alternately, if you can log in as that user and post in this thread confirming that you wish to have the blog deleted, and that you understand this process is permanent, I’d be happy to delete it for you.
