Delete my .com site to get futher with .org?
-
Hello, I have been blogging on a wordpress.com site. Now I am building a new website with wordpress.org. But when I want to install plugins like google analytics for dashboard WP and akismet, I cannot do this for my .org site because I already have a .com account. So what do I do? Do I completely delete my .com account to continue with .org?

Hi there!
Your domain “voicesofsouthsinai.com” is currently pointing to your WordPress.com site. Did you intend to use this domain with a self-hosted installation of WordPress?
If so, please see these support documents on the steps you need to do to transfer everything over:

http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

No, I do not want to move my .com blog. I made a completely new website with .org, but because I have a .com blog running I have difficulties installing certains plugins for my new website.

Thank you for that information.
Since the domain “ontdekdesinai.nl” is not registered with or hosted on WordPress.com, support staff at WordPress.com do not have access to your site’s files or the ability to provide support for your current issue.
Also, having a site on WordPress.com is completely separate from a self-hosted WordPress.org site, so the WordPress.com site should have no effect on your self-hosted site.
The Jetpack plugin is the only thing that requires a WordPress.com account connection, and that is only to access the different stats and features and would have no effect on installing other plugins. Here’s more information on this plugin:
