Delete my Gravatar Image!
-
Hello
I’ve deleted the gravatar image i had and it is still available at:
http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/de98083571252000b52fac7c9c2f4b03?s=100&r=pg&d=http://n7.nabble.com/images/avatar100.pngWhatever I do Google search is still able to find it.
I’m expecting you to delete the image from that link or any other cached link you might have as soon as possible, as this is in line with my privacy rights. Thanks in advance,
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Deleting public blogs and/or blog content from them does not remove indexed content from the SERPs (search engine page results). That also applies to your image as gravatar accounts are wordpress.com accounts. They are one in the same thing.
Google and Bing only clear their caches of deleted indexed content that produces a 404 (page not found) every 3 – 6 months. To completely remove an entire page from Google search results after it produces a 404 (page not found):

I know!
Thoug in my link above the image is not cached by Google.
This is a purely Gravatar link where anyone can access my photo online independently of google. It is cached by Gravatar and is Gravatar’s responsibility to delete it.
I perfectly know that after it’s deleted by Gravatar there’ll be a delay for it to be removed from Google. But this is not the case here.
The photo is still referenced in Gravatar and needs to be deleted asap.
I’ve tried to get it deleted for months now with no results. If it’s nlt removed soon I’ll be forced to pursue other ways to resolve this. -
There is no other way to resolve this that I know of. Log out and clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies first. Then, without logging in at all, click this link http://en.gravatar.com/hehooodreamer
-
1- Copy the link I sent (which is a gravatar link)
2- Paste it to your browser.
3- Press Enter
4- A photo will appear
5- This photo is not in my browser cache, it is somewhere in Gravatar server
6- I want people working for Gravatar to delete ASAP
The Gravatar link I sent is publicly available, and contains an image that I deleted on my Gravatar profile! No Google involved here.
Is this still confusing somehow? -
