  Hi there. You cannot delete your wordpress.com username account. This is for security reasons so others cannot claim your username and impersonate you. http://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  The only details you were required to provide when signing up for your account was an email address. WordPress.com will never send you spam to that email address and also won’t sell it to third parties, as clearly stated in their privacy policy.

  If you change that email to a throwaway address there will be no way your account could ever be linked to you. Any other details that you added yourself, you also have the power to delete yourself.   You cannot delete the account, you can just deactivate the account from the settings so that in future if you want to come back to wordpress, you don’t have to create a new one.
  To unsubscribe from any email notifications from WordPress.com, go to your subscription settings and check the box that says Block Emails and click save.
