Hi i am in the process of closing down a business, including a website that was built through wordpress. I want there to remain no search engine records of the website etc. Can you offer any guidance on how to delete my wordpress profile?

If you want to delete your site and account, this guide will help: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
Once you delete your site, search engines won’t index it again. However, it can take a couple weeks for them to remove you from the existing index. That’s not something we can really control, I’m afraid.
If you’d prefer, you can set your site private instead. It’ll have the same benefits, but you’ll still have access to your data. You’ll be able to view your site, but others will not.
