Delete my site

  I want to delete my site but am unable to see the ‘delete site’ button . Please assist.

  Hey @suchetapradhan0248, you have to cancel your subscription first in order to delete your website. You can do that by going to https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/

  After you’ve done that, go into Dashboard -> Settings. You will find the delete button at the end of the page.

  Just to confirm, this is for http://scribblingpenscom.wpcomstaging.com/, correct?

  I see your site used to be on our Business Plan where you had plugins or a custom theme installed.

  Before you can delete that site, we’ll first need to properly downgrade it back to the free plan. This will remove all plugins and third party themes you still have installed, and there is also a risk that any content you added since you first installed plugins may be lost during this process.

  Even if you plan to delete the site, please confirm that you understand this if you want us to proceed with this process.
