Delete my site

  I have a WordPress site called https://catsofdurban.wordpress.com/. I have been locked out of this site for months, and no-one at WordPress is prepared to help me get in. There are ‘rules and regulations’ which make no sense, and are counter-intuitive, but, hey – ‘Rules are Rules’. So I have created a new site with Wix, and cut and pasted all my information off the WordPress site onto the Wix site. Now I want to get rid of the useless WordPress site. I was told that your administrators can hide this site, so that it is not public any more. Please do this: the site as it now stands is damaging as it contains old and incorrect information, which – thanks to your insane bureaucracy – I can’t update, and I don’t want people to see it. Thanks.

  PLEASE HIDE THE OLD CATS OF DURBAN WORDPRESS SITE, AS IT IS USELESS AND OUTDATED AND IRRELEVANT. I CAN DO NOTHING WITH IT BECAUSE YOU HAVE LOCKED ME OUT. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE REPLY TO THIS????

  What do you mean by

  Can you access your admin area?

  Thanks for the reply. I cannot access the site, because the e-mail address associated with that site was accidentally deleted, and gmail does not allow you to re-activate a deleted e-mail address. So – despite my name, password, contact telephone number etc, all being correct, the Rules Police at WordPress will not allow me into my site, as all the access codes get sent to the deleted e-mail address, which obviously I then don’t receive! I went round in circles for months. Now I have had to create an entirely new website, and I want to old one deleted. I can’t do it, because (here we go again!) WordPress keeps sending all the access codes to an e-mail address that I cannot access….. I cannot even begin to tell you the frustration….
