Delete my site

  I need to delete this site, but it says that there are upgrades to cancel in billing. I don’t see anything to cancel. Please help me delete this site. Thank you.

  Hi there,

  It sounds like you have an upgrade of some kind, like a premium theme. Those have to be transferred or removed by staff before the site can be deleted. This section of the deleting site support doc talks about it.

  I’ve added the modlook tag to this post so staff is aware of your need.

  Please note that, deleting a site does not free it up. It permanently deactivates that address. If there’s any chance you would like to use it again, consider making the site private instead.

  Hi there,

  I can remove the theme for you, but you own the theme indefinitely – so I would recommend you to set your site to private in case you ever want to use the theme again for another site.

  Otherwise, I’d be happy to remove the theme for you so you can proceed with the deletion of the site.

  Thanks for confirming. I’ve removed the theme so you should now able to delete your site using these steps:
