Hi there, did you try following this guide to delete it?
https://wordpress.com/support/how-to-create-a-staging-site/#delete-a-staging-site
Post back here if you still need help with this and add the MODLOOK tag to the tags section of the forum thread.

OK-thanks. I’ve added the MODLOOK tag for you. Thanks for your patience while staff get back to you. (Also nothing that as you have a paid plan you can reach out to support directly rather than needing to post to the community forums.)

Thanks for adding that information. Then this support guide will be relevant for you as well https://wordpress.com/support/manage-purchases/downgrade-your-plan/#downgrade-from-a-business-or-commerce-plan
Again, your thread is marked for staff attention. If you no longer need help after reading and acting on that guide, please let us know. Thanks.

my plan already downgraded to free, i got no refund as it expired today, still cannot delete the staging site??? omg

Again, thanks for the info. Sometimes it can happen that the downgrade from a business/commerce plan to the free plan gets stuck somewhere and needs some staff love to joggle it free. Let’s now wait for staff to reply here as each reply pushes this forum thread down in their queue. Thanks.

Hi there,
My name is Pat, I’m a Happiness Engineer with WordPress.com. I’m sorry to hear you were having trouble deleting your staging site. I went ahead and made some changes on my end so I was able to delete that site for you.
Let us know if anything else comes up and in the meantime have a great rest of your day.

hi pat, thanks, but there is still another staging site there?
Phillip J Gordon Art Designs
phillipjamesgordon.wpcomstaging.com
it says its hidden, but i can still access it?? phillip

Hi there,
This is actually not a staging site, but your site itself. wpcomstaging is part of the free domain for sites on the Business plan or higher as a reminder to switch it to a custom domain. Since your site’s plan was cancelled however, it should switch back to a .wordpress.com domain instead of a .wpcomstaging.com domain, so I went ahead and expedited that process and reverted your site’s free domain to phillipjamesgordon.wordpress.com.
Let us know if anything else comes up and in the meantime have a great rest of your day.

Unless anything else comes up, you should be good to go :-)
Have a great rest of your day.
