Delete my wordpress account

  I would like to delete my wordpress account, and went to tools for deleting, but it was not there.
  How do I delete this account/profile?

  You cannot delete an account on WordPress.com, but you can disassociate yourself from all personal information attached to the account you set up. WordPress.com does not recycle accounts/urls/blog names. Even so, here is information which will allow you to leave WordPress.com as only a distant memory, from my fellow volunteer timethief:
