delete my wordpress.com account so I can use wordpress.org instead

    I already own a hosted domain. I’m just looking to switch over to CMS so it is easier to maintain (and so I can pass it off to someone else who won’t have Dreamweaver or much knowledge of websites). I created an account using wordpress.com but think I should have used wordpress.org instead. Any advice you might have is appreciated.

    If you want to self-host (WordPress.org) choose a good hosting provider like the ones recommended bellow
    http://get.wp.com/hosting/

    As for your WordPress.com account, you don’t have to delete it. You can use it to add a ton of nice features to your self-hosted site (through Jetpack).
