Delete name of blog

  Hi, I just want to remove my blog names (there are 2 and I wish to get rid of both) and start fresh but keep my word press ID/account. Can I get it back to a blank slate or do I need to delet it and sign up with a different wordpress ID?

  Do you want to delete blogs entirely (this is permanent, and you cannot recycle blog addresses in the future)? If you’re not using the blogs, you can set them to private if you prefer, or I can empty them for you.

  Hi Jackie,
  Basically I just want to remove all the info I have (including the 2 blog names I have attached to my wordpress account) and start fresh. I’m just concerned that if I delete it and sign up again I wont be able to use my wordpress ID or the email address it’s linked to. Is that right?

  Your WordPress.com account cannot be deleted, so you are welcome to delete your individual blogs whenever you wish, and add new blogs at any time.

  Hi Jackie,
  I can not for the life of me figure this out (and it’s driving me mad!).

  When I follow your instructions it only comes up with name of the above blog I have just created -beginginginthemiddle- which I don’t want to delete but when I go on to other pages it still comes up with the other blogs Ive created, making it all very confusing.

  I really just want everything attached to my wordpress account deleted to the point of having the blog name: beginginginthemiddle attached to my account.

  How do I do this?

  I see two blogs under your username. If you wish to permanently delete one of them, please post the exact address for the site as confirmation and I will delete it for you.
