Delete old account, can’t log in
-
Hi!
I created a blog in the 9th grade as a school project and have not used it since 2013. I would like the blog to be deleted as I am looking for jobs and it is one of the first things to pop up on google when my name is searched and I would like to have more relevant info show up instead.
I tried the recovery form but it won’t let me submit it as I do no have any of the “proof of ownership” items. The email I used to create the blog is no longer active as it was a school email that has since been deleted.
What are my options? Who should I contact?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I’m sorry to hear you’ve lost access to your WordPress.com account.
If you aren’t able to provide an email from the email address with which the blog was registered, a transaction ID, or the original activation link, I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you recover the account.
We have a strict policy in place to protect our users from third parties who might try to use our support system to gain access to other users’ accounts.
However, if there’s personal information on your blog, I would be happy to set it to private, so that search engines and users can’t access it, and your blog will be hidden from public view. Just let me know if you want us to do that for you.
Thank you,

Hi!
Yes I would be very happy if you could set my blog to private so that search engines and the public cant access it.
Thank you!

Hi, the blog has been set to private now! Please note: Google and other search engines are likely to still show it in search results until they update what they (don’t) see.
It might be worth using their ‘remove outdated content’ tool:
