Delete old blog
-
Hi,
I am the owner of this old blog I’d like to delete, but since I made it last year I don’t remember what email and password I used and therefore can’t login to delete it.
Thé blog is: lesenfantsdejoudre.wordpress.com
Please can you help me?
Thank you.

What I post below applies only to sites hosted by WordPress.COM on our servers and not to sites hosted anywhere else.
WordPress.COM sites are solely owned by the username accounts that registered them. (Organizations, companies, etc. do not own sites.)
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with the actual blog’s name in that URL.
I recommend bookmarking that link or memorizing it.
You can update your email address here https://wordpress.com/me
If you are not logged in under the correct WordPress.COM username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account
If you did not register the site under your username account and do not have the required access, then you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it, and have them act or transfer the site to your username account by using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
If the login information has been lost go to
Have you tried using the lost password link and then checking all likely email addresses for receipt?
If you check each and every possible email address and account and are not successful gaining access to the blog then you must complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery so you can be contacted by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access. Support Staff cannot breach the privacy policy and provide the log-in information. You have to provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff to gain access https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

Hi there,
To delete that site you need to be logged in as the username, joudreville. For security reasons I cannot tell you the email address associated with that username.
If you don’t remember your login details for that username, please see the account recovery steps in the link at the bottom of @timethief’s reply above.

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply
I tried to reset the password with the username “joudreville” but It’s strange, I don’t remember to have used one time that username but I could be wrong.
I have no return mail from wordpress.com in my mailbox.
Are you sure for the username “joudreville”? -
Are you sure for the username “joudreville”?
Yes, joudreville is definitely the correct username. If you aren’t receiving any password reset emails, please fill out the account recovery form on the page @timethief linked to:

Thank you for your help, it’s very kind.
I have a problem to fill out the “account recovery form” for the “Proof of Ownership” when I
have to choose between the 3 following choices:
– Do you have a transaction ID?
– Do you have an activation URL or key?
– Do you have two factor authentication codes? For the creation of my site “lesenfantsdejoudre.wordpress.com”, if I remenber correctly it’s was free and I did not pay anything. Furthermore I don’t remember to have received an activation key.

Hi there,
If you haven’t made any purchases, then your only way of recovering access to that account is by either resetting the password by using the tool @timethief and my colleagues already mentioned or find the email including the account activation link (it’s the first email we send out to new accounts).
