There is a site I created back in 2008 that needs deleted. I no longer know what email or username I used, and I suspect I no longer have access to the email account I used to create the login for the site. I need assistance with how to proceed.

There are three questions you need to answer yourself:

    1. What is the exact URL of the wordpress.COM hosted site in question?

    2. Exactly which wordpress.COM username account registered it?

    3. Exactly which email address was used when wordpress.COM username account was registered?

Every WordPress.COM blog has a sole owner. It is the person with the WordPress.COM username account who registered the blog under that username account and a single associated email address, and who is the original Admin of the blogs registered under that username account.

You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.

Clicking this link should display all blogs registered under the same username account, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden

If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
    follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility

If the log-in information is lost visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

If you check each and every possible email address and account and are not successful gaining access to the blog(s) then please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, and provide proof ownership, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

If you cannot verify ownership to Account Recovery Staff by use of this form https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and adding any other details you can provide at the end of the form you have reached a dead end. https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/

I have a similar problem, an organization we help had some volunteer students several years ago who made and maintained a Web site for them (https://centrocori.wordpress.com/).
Unfortunately some time ago they went on with their lives and took all the site’s information with them.
The only proof we can provide are official documents of the association itself.
Is there any way we can disable the site? The information contained in it is very outdated.
I greatly appreciate any help that can be provided.
    Thanks,
    Juan Panas

@timethief I know exactly which WordPress.COM site that needs deleted. I don’t remember what WordPress.COM account registered it or I wouldn’t have this problem. It’s extremely likely that I registered this site with a university email address in 2008 to which I no longer have access.

Simply not ever being able to access/delete content that I created is not acceptable. I would like a real answer please and not a canned response.
