Delete option is not available in my settings

  Hi, I’m trying to start from zero with a site and I cannot delete the previous site as there is not option in settings as per guidance.

  Can anyone tell me why my site doesn’t display delete option?

  Hi,

  If I follow the picture in the guidance, it take me to other type of settings. Anyway, I found it although it’s too late as I deleted my site using another way. Now, I cannot use the same site address.

  Sorry, I’m not feel comfortable with WordPress.

  Hi there, if you didn’t intend to delete your site, but simply empty the existing content so you could start fresh, you can still recover the site address if it’s been less than 30 days since you deleted it.

  What is the full address of the site you want to recover?

  Hi @clatecnofilo,

  Seems I understand what might be the reason of this case.
  Most probably you are using WordPress.org website hosted somewhere not on WordPress.com? In case necessary here you can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If yes, then you could not see “Delete your site permanently” button as described there , because menu was different, as below:
  

  If you are WordPress.com user: if you do see the menu above and not as described in guidance, then you are now in WP-Admin menu. To return to Calypso menu as in guidance, please turn off Dashboard Appearance in your account settings like this:
