delete option not showing

  I’m trying to go through the process to close this account – I get asked to type the name etc to confirm deletion but then there option button to permenantly delete is not active… I created this account in error can you please delete it?

  Hi there,

  To permanently close your account and delete your all sites, please go to your account settings: https://wordpress.com/me/account

  Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on the “Close your account permanently” option.

  If you do not see the “Close your account permanently” option, this means you have an active plan or domain on your account. You can cancel/delete these through the Manage Purchases section of your account.

  Please note that closing your account deletes all of the sites you own and all their contents. After a few weeks, the data will be entirely purged from the system, and at this point, the process cannot be reversed.
