Delete or transfer or combine

    Not sure what I want, I think I want to combine wordpress.com accounts?

    I had a wordpress.com account. Then I got a Bluehost account and created thatsdadstuff.com. This is my first WordPress account.

    I wasn’t doing much with the blog and realized I was wasting money… so canceled the Bluehost account, got a refund, the website vanished, but I still owned the domain name.

    I went with Tumblr got a premium them for free, and moved the domain to Tumblr. thatsdadstuff.com

    A friend was raving about wordpress.com and I am brainstorming about moving it again to wordpress.com. So I created a second WordPress account thatsdadstuff.wordpress.com

    But I have 2 accounts in wordpress… Do you combine, delete one, transfer, etc…

    Hi there,

    Are you sure you have two accounts? What is the other account’s username?

    You’re posting here as the WordPress.com username account, thatsdadstuff

    This account has two sites:

    1) A stand-alone WordPress site connected here via the Jetpack plugin, http://www.thatsdadstuff.com/. That domain loads a Tumblr site, though, and the Jetpack connection for the site appears to be broken for at least the past 6 months. So I assume that Jetpack connection was for your original Bluehost site.

    2) A WordPress.com site, https://thatsdadstuff.wordpress.com/, that was created three days ago.

    So based on what you said above, you only have one WordPress.com account with one site, and one lingering, broken Jetpack connection for a site that no longer exists. We can completely remove that broken connection, after which you’ll only have the one WordPress.com site in your account.

    Make sense?

    Please confirm if we can remove the broken Jetpack connection from your account.

    Yes, lets remove the broken jetpack connection(www.thatsdadstuff.com)… I regret letting that go, but live and learn…

    hi, I think I disconnected it myself, please double check… at least its not showing up in my sites… not sure if you need to do anything on your end….
