Delete original administrator of blog

Hello,
I am trying to delete the original administrator of my blog. It is a blog for AmeriCorps members for the Ohio Association of Foodbanks. A former employee created the website using her [now defunct] work email and then invited an account that was created later [to be an admin account for multiple web services, including WordPress] to join as an admin. I cannot delete her account now that she is no longer working with us.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You don’t own the blog. Every blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the username account who registered the blog under that username account and associated email address. You need to contact the blog’s owner and have her act on transferring the blog. Here’s what she must do.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased any upgrades to renew them and/or transfer the blogs and the upgrades to another username account.
To transfer a blog from one username account A to another username account B you must first log in under the username account A that owns the blog you want to transfer to the other username account.
Then you add the other username account B as an Admin of the blog.

That means the blog’s owner will have to use account recovery first and then transfer the blog. They must complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact him/her by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.

Since it’s work email – can the old email address be added back to the system long enough to transfer the blog to another user – your systems Admin should be able to bring back the email address – else you need to recover the account as noted above
