Hi,
This code will remove the overlays so your image will appear with normal colours:
.entry-hero::before { display: none; }You can hide the titles below the images at the bottom of your home page with this code:
.home #post-6 .listing-item a.title { display: none; } -
Hi, thank you very much! Also if I want to hide the titles from the blog section, I mean from the very page of the article what should I do?
Thanks! -
This code will hide the titles on your single post pages:
.single-post .entry-title { display: none; } -
Hi, the title hide in single post page seem not to work… dont know way but this do the work: .type-post .entry-title {
display: none;
}for the overly I didnt found an answer… the code seem to have no effect. How can I fix it?
thanks! -
hooo I see… all the codes you gave me works… the only thing I want to do is erase the overly from here: https://kahol.co.il/%D7%94%D7%90%D7%9D-%D7%97%D7%99%D7%99%D7%91-%D7%90%D7%95%D7%AA%D7%9A/%D7%9E%D7%90%D7%9E%D7%A8%D7%99%D7%9D-%D7%97%D7%93%D7%A9%D7%99%D7%9D/
also im trying to make the picture seen full and not croped in the preview how can I do it? thank you!
-
You would need to use slightly different code to have it change the images on other pages as well as the home page:
.entry-hero::before, .site-content-wrapper .has-post-thumbnail .entry-header::before { display: none; } -
Hi thank you!

The Shoreditch theme page says:
Featured Images for posts and pages are 2000 wide by 1500 high.
Although that’s a suggestion not an order! On the page you linked they’re showing at 580x421px. Try uploading one at the same width-to-height ratio and see if that helps.

hi just tried it… and it make it worse..
here in the single post page: https://kahol.co.il/2016/09/29/%D7%A0%D7%99%D7%A1%D7%99%D7%95%D7%9F/and here in suggestion: (in the end)
-
It looks like you’ve squashed the image to fit the size which isn’t what I meant. You’ll have to crop or resize without stretching it if you want to try it out.
-
how can I do it?
and also how the site know I squased it? isnt it supoosed to treat it the same? -
I mean I dont really know what to do…
here is the problem:
1. I want to target the post navigation area and:
a. remove the overly
b. remove the title from pictures
c. make the picture fit…how can I do all the 3?
and about image size can you please explain to me how to change the image size?
-
You will need to use some image editing software to either edit the existing image or use it to create a new image. WordPress will use whatever you specify so if you upload a stretched or squashed version of your image that’s what it will display.
-
yeah I just wanted to see if the picture in the navigation will be seen full even if squased… and it seems that it is still cropped…
mmm is there a way to remove the navigation at all?
-
here you can see in the buttom the sqused image: https://kahol.co.il/2016/09/29/%D7%A0%D7%99%D7%A1%D7%99%D7%95%D7%9F/#more-2164
and even it is the right size it is still croped
