Delete payment data

I can’t delete payment data (credit card info) for our two sites.
Blog url: http://factsaboutsnails.wordpress.com/The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The error message is
“You are logged in as “factsaboutsnails” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for “WordPress.com”. If you are not “factsaboutsnails”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are “factsaboutsnails” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.

I have the same problem.
Does WP react to issues mentioned here? I can not see an option of contacting help desk personally ( -

Yes, you must be logged in under the username account that purchased the upgrade for the blog in question. Then you go to Store > My Upgrades. Hover over the “update credit card” link and click it to proceed.

Thanks for your help Time Thief.
We’ve tried when logged in as Administrator and Editor, and it doesn’t allow us to remove it from either BLOG.
-
-
Specifically, which upgrades are you trying to remove payment data for from which blogs?
-
-
So, you’re trying to delete the payment details for the next renewal of lovetheorist.com which was purchased today?
If so, you can do that by disabling auto-renew via Store -> My Upgrades in your blog’s Dashboard.
-
No, I just want to delete the data from my profile so they were not available to WordPress anymore. There is such an option called ‘delete payment data’, but it doesn’t work :-S

I think I’ve have disabled auto-renew for factsaboutsnails and thesnailwhisperer because we won’t be using the same credit card next year.
But I’d still like to delete payment data for both sites anyway. It still gives the error shown on the third post, no matter which user I login as.
-
Auto-renew is still enabled on both. You need to be logged in as the owner of the upgrades, factsaboutsnails, to remove payment details and disable auto-renew.
-
Hey, thank you for disabling the auto-renew, but as written above, I don’t think it actually removed the data from your system since I can still see it settings-> account -> payment method and the same error still appears…
-
Thanks for your help MacManx.
We only have two administrators of both sites. If we login as either of them, we are still unable to use the button “delete payment data”. It just doesn’t work.
-
Hm, this appears to be related to another issue that we’re having with PayPal right now. PayPal is our payment gateway and are the ones who store the transaction data.
Please try again in 24 hours or so.

Hello again!
If the issu is still bothering you, I have found a way to erase the data through users->personal settings->personal options->stored credit card details->remove details for XXXXX
Good luck!
