Delete permanently partly faulty?

    I tried to delete images by clicking on ‘delete permanently’ in the media library. After confirming that I really want to do that, the images disappear from the library. However, the deep link to SOME images still worls. It’s not a browser cache subject, because that happens even with completely new devices without any previous usage. It only happens with images from 2016, olde images are deleted immediately and produce a 404-Error. Did anybody make the same observation? It would be very helpful because I was aked to remove an image but cannot do it.

    Just to make clear: The images disappear on the blog page. But they were and are still viewable by typing https://blogname.files.wordpress.com/2016/month/name.jpg in the browser address field.
