Delete plugin – ‘critical error on this website’

    I need to delete a plugin but am getting this error: ‘Deletion failed: There has been a critical error on this website.Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.’

    The ‘Learn more’ text is not hyperlinked.

    How do I troubleshoot this error and delete the plugin

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there – Which plugin are you trying to delete when you see the error?

    I did look briefly and I see a handful of errors on the backend for one plugin: “Bitly’s WordPress Plugin”. I’m not sure if that’s the one. Let us know and we’ll try to help.
