  What you are looking for is part way down the page. Beginning with:
  “There are a couple of ways to remove posts from the Posts screen…”

  Thanks, I found another way to trash the posts but is there still a way to delete the title? I could not find the list of posts with check boxes to the left as your help page link suggested.

  Are you trying to delete your whole site? or just a few posts?

  @bbeard22- looking at the site linked to your username burrbeard.wordpress.com I do not see any content.

  If all you want to do is change the title of your current site, you can do so under Site Title here: https://wordpress.com/settings/general/burrbeard.wordpress.com Remember to save your changes.

  If you entirely delete your blog, and not just the content, neither you nor anyone else will ever be able to use that site address again. If this is what you wish to do you can follow the instructions in this Support doc: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Make sure you read and understand all the warnings along the way.
