  Trying to delete previous wordpress information, as now I need it for another purpose.

  If you’d rather just delete your content and hang on to your blog name, you can follow these steps: https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  If you want to completely delete your account, you can follow the steps at https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Please understand that once you delete your account, you will not be able to use your WordPress.com blog address again in the future.
