delete privacy setting

hello wordpress team,
a little favor, could you kindly remove my pricvacy setting so that anyone can follow/search me? I did try the one in the general setting but my friend still could not search me.
I hope to recieve your reply.

How is your friend trying to search for you? If they are trying to search through a search engine like Google, it may take some time for them to crawl and cache your site, so that it shows up in search results.

they are actually searching through wordpress. but they could not search me, unless I will be the one to invite them first.

…stephyteph, your blog is currently available to anyone who wants to read it. Your blog is not private. If you want your friend to find you, give them the URL.
If you own both URL’s, it is possible to move all of the contents from one blog to the other. Follow these instructions:
1. Go to your dashboard
2. Find ‘Tools’ in the sidebar
3. Select ‘Export’
4. Select: “Create an XML file…”
5. Save your XML file to your computers hard drive.1. Go to the dashboard of the blog you want to move stuff to…
2. Find ‘Tools’ in the sidebar
3. Select ‘Import’
4. Select: ‘Import posts, pages, comments, custom fields, categories, and tags from a WordPress export file.’ (XML)
5. Find and select the XML file you just downloaded to your hard drive.Now all the content from one blog, will be added to the other, without deleting anything.

Oops, @johnnytesting looks like we posted at the same time.
If I understand correctly, I think the concern is that @stephyteph’s friend isn’t seeing her blog in the search on wordpress.com.

another thing, I am only using an ipad. is it possible to perform the transferring of blogs using only this?

Not sure where on WordPress the friend would be searching, but on Google: stephyteph / definitelystephy / definitelystephy.wordpress.com they all come up fine.

@johnnytesting thanks for pointing that out.
@stephyteph It might be possible, but the WordPress.com interface isn’t really optimized for the iPad. Using a desktop or laptop computer would be better.

one last thing, I recieve a notification last week that I have a follower but I could not find her. can you check that? -
Don’t know about iPad but on your Stats page there is a section called “Totals, Followers & Shares” – one of the entries is Followers

yes, i saw that. but the one appeared on the email notification is not there. I know I need to approve that first but I don’t know how and where.

You don’t “approve” followers – if you have the subscribe by email Widget all a person needs to do is click on it and confirm the subscription – you have nothing to do with subscribers
You can set your blog to require comments to be approved if you want
