I am blocked from my site. I cannot get access. All methods of verifying authenticity are not available. I would like to regain access and pay for the site. I have been on hold waiting for a Happiness Engineer for more than an hour. The blog site is: https://agardenersnotes.com A Journal for the Pacific NW Gardener.
My email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff)
I believe I may have gotten hacked. I do not recognize: agileboldly7120b350f
I hope you can help me. I can’t keep working on this any longer. Been at it for about 3 hours altogether.
Thanks for your help.

Hi, we have had a change in leadership at our non-profit. I do not have any credentials to manage our site. How can I reach someone to help me with the old credentials and establishing a new user name and password? I am desperate!

Hi there,
I completely understand how frustrating it must feel to be blocked out of your site.
It sounds like you’ve already taken steps, but if you haven’t yet, I recommend following the steps listed in the Account Recovery Guide. This should help you regain access to your site and verify your account ownership.
If you’re still having trouble, I’d suggest reaching out to WordPress.com support directly through the Support Options, as this type of issue requires confidential information that can’t be handled on the forum.
I hope this helps, and I truly hope you’re able to regain access soon!

I understand how stressful it must be to not have access to the site credentials, especially following a leadership transition at your non-profit.
To move forward, WordPress.com requires that the current site owner transfers ownership.
Are you able to get in touch with the original owner to ask them to transfer the site?
The full steps for transferring a site are explained here:
