delete site

  Hello,

  I have a blog on https://minovdotorg.wordpress.com/ and would like to delete it.

  I went to ‘delete my website’ / ‘delete now’ twice.
  Then I had the :

  ‘
  Thank you. Please check your email for a link to confirm your action. Your site will not be deleted until this link is clicked.
  ‘

  But no email is showing up. My profile email is right, and nothing in the spam folder. I tried several times and waited several hours.

  Any help? Thanks

  Hello there!

  The issue you are facing clearly seems to be with email delivery. Can you update your profile with another email id and try again?

  I’m tagging this topic for staff assistance anyway. Do click ‘Subscribe to Topic’ on the sidebar by the right, in this page, to receive email notifications as soon as someone checks your blog and resolves your issue.

  Thanks for your help.

  I tried with a different email without success. I managed to confirm the other email but not to receive the deletion email.

  The deletion email takes up to two hours to be delivered. In case it takes longer or is not delivered again, do let me know.

  I tried again to get the email several times, it’s been 24hours, and nothing has come.

  Please read the warnings and advice before deleting a site. We can’t revert a site deletion for any reason and the site address cannot be reused.

  Yes, I would like minovdotorg.wordpress.com to be permanently deleted. I am OK with not being able to reuse the site name.

  The reason your delete site request is failing is because your username, while an administrator, is not marked as the owner user of the site.

  The owner user is the other administrator listed here:

  https://minovdotorg.wordpress.com/wp-admin/users.php?role=administrator

  Looking at the user information, I assume you control both accounts. Please login as that owner user, and either follow the Delete Site steps once again, or request here again (as that user) and I’ll be happy to delete site for you.

  Sorry for the extra steps, but given the permanent nature of site deletions we take these precautions to make sure the owner authorizes it.
