Delete site

  Hi there, I want to delete my site. I have a private domain which I have removed, but does not expire for a couple of months and for some reason WP wont let me delete the site. Instead it redirects me back to manage purchases. Any ideas?

  Hi,

  We can cancel the domain registration and then you’ll be able to delete the site. Are you sure you want to cancel the domain?

  There are some things to keep in mind about domain cancellation. Firstly, domains once cancelled won’t be immediately available for registration from another registrar. The domain gets processed back and through the process, you may lose access to the domain permanently.

  You should never cancel a domain or let a domain expire if you wish to use it in the future. You may cancel a domain or let it expire if you’re absolutely sure you will never need to use it in the future.
