  Hi I am no longer using this wordpress site and want to switch my domain name to another. Will deleting my site allow me to unlock my domain name?

  The answer is no. I typed modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help.   Hey there,

  Are you referring to the domain liisakorpela.com? If so, you will need to contact us from the account associated with that upgrade. The current account you contacted us from is not associated with the domain subscription.

  But, the domain is not registered with WordPress.com but rather with Go Daddy, so there is no need to unlock the domain here. It is already with a different registrar.
