Delete site

I want to delete my site and start over. I’ve tried to follow your instructions but the settings button isnt there.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We cannot do this for you.To delete a WordPress.COM hosted blog you must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to navigate to Dashboard > Tools > Delete Site. The guide is here http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made except for the one stated here http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
Alternatively, to change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings

I assume you already tried to follow instructions on support page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ and it didn’t work.
Would you be able to try to go this URL: https://wordpress.com/settings/general, select your blog and there should be “Delete Site’ at the bottom of the page.

You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard and navigate to Tools.
The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by wordpress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with your actual blog’s name in that URL.

The issue is that the WordPress.com user account that you are posting from is not the owner or admin of thelifentimesofbabdehaggis.wordpress.com.
So you must have ended up with a second WordPress.com account at some point. You will need to log into the other account in order to access the thelifentimesofbabdehaggis.wordpress.com dashboard.
