  I’m trying to delete my site but for some reason I can’t. It says ‘You have active premium upgrades on your site. Please cancel your upgrades prior to deleting your site.’ – which I did, but it still won’t let me delete

  Premium themes have to be removed by Staff or transferred to another WordPress.COM hosted site of yours before the site they are on currently can be deleted. Deleting a site with upgrades https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/#deleting%C2%A0a-site-with-upgrades

  I have removed the premium theme, little-story, and you can proceed with the deletion. Remember that this is permanent and we can’t restore it in the future should you change your mind.
