delete site

    I had a website done by godaddy and they were hosting it. Until it was completely deleted because I didn’t realize I hadn’t paid for the hosting for a few months. Now I’m trying to rebuild it and when I looked at a template, I did something that caused it to install, sync to my site, but renamed it and populated it with the info from the template. I can’t get rid of it. I tried deleting it from godaddy, but it came right back so it must be something I did with you guys.

    Hi there,

    Your site is not hosted with us, just connected here via the Jetpack plugin. Jetpack allows you to manage certain aspects of your site via a WordPress.com account, but we have no direct control over your site itself.

    I see you bought a Jetpack Backup plan on 16 October. If you’d been restoring backups from that, you would only be able to restore versions of your site as of that date, as we have absolutely no data for your site prior to that.

    Instead, if you have an existing backup of your original site, or if GoDaddy perhaps has one on their end, you need to contact them directly for help restoring it, as that will require access to your server with them.
