Delete site

  I want to delete this but unsure of what it means ….’lifeinprincetondotcom.wordpress.com will be unavailable in the future.’…..
  does that mean the name of the site will be unavailable? or this particular site? I’m using this name elsewhere and don’t want to have a problem if this site is deleted.

  Hello!

  It means that ‘lifeinprincetondotcom.wordpress.com’ will no longer be available, ever. Anybody going there, or any domain pointing to it will see a ‘site deleted’ message.

  If you’re looking to keep that name, but want to empty the site, then..

  Delete all posts
  Delete all pages
  Delete all categories
  Delete all tags
  Delete all media

  Just as another tip: if you want a clean slate for a site, you can rename it instead, and opt to keep the old address:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  So mysite.wordpress.com could be renamed to mysiteold.wordpress.com, leaving mysite.wordpress.com blank.
