Delete site

  I am trying to delete this site set up by Holly Flater at Bloomberg BNA. My name is Laura Gordon-Murnane and my email address is (email visible only to moderators and staff). I am trying to delete this site but I must not have the right permissions to access the dashboard that will allow me to delete this site – can you assist. My phone number is [redacted] – Holly has asked me to delete the site for her. Please advise on how we can proceed. Thanks Laura

  Hi Laura,

  I don’t see this site http://bnasaleshr.wordpress.com/ linked to the account (hollyflater) from which you have raised this concern. Site can be deleted through the account it is linked to.
  If you remember the username or email address of the account you can opt for Account Recovery. By filling out Account Recovery Form you can reset password and get access to the account.

  Once you recover your account you can delete the site.

  Note: Avoid adding personal details in forum threads. I have flagged this thread and someone from staff will remove your personal information.

  Hi hollyflater,

  A site can only be deleted by the owner. lauragm will need to login to their account and delete bnasaleshr.wordpress.com using these steps:

  Delete a Website

  If they are having trouble doing so, please ask them to login and reply here and I’ll be happy to take a look.

  That’s correct. You are a Contributor on the site and therefore don’t have permission to make this change.

  Hi hollyflater,

  You are logged in and replying as hollyflater, but you need to be logged in as lauragm. Can you double check which account you are logged in to on your My Profile page?:

  https://wordpress.com/me

  The username is listed under your profile photo on the left.
