Delete site

  I need someone to delete a blog that I set up about 5 years ago. I’ve logged into 2 different accounts that I have, and the blog is not associated with either. The blog is at https://uamsgme.wordpress.com/. It really needs to come down. IT at the university where I work want it down because it is coming up in searches, and the information is old and no longer relevant.

  I tried using the delete blog form, but I don’t have enough information to complete it.

  If you manage to have access to your admin dashboard, you may want to follow the steps in here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
  The admin user for uamsgme.wordpress.com seem to be: uamsgme

  If you do not have the access to the admin account of this site anymore, or forgot its password/recovery emails and etc., then the best way shall be to get in contact with the wordpress support team directly, here: https://wordpress.com/help/contact

  Hi @oeduams,

  To delete or cancel a blog, go to Tools -> Delete Blog in your Dashboard.
  If you delete a blog you will not be able to get it back and no one else will be able to use that blog address.

  You must be sure you never want to use the blog again if you delete it.

  And as referring to your questions heading Delete site.

  Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address (such as yourgroovysite.wordpress.com).

  If that’s not what you want to do, you can instead:

  Change your site’s address and keep your content
  Delete old posts and continue using the same address
  Empty your site of all its content for a fresh start and continue using the same address
  Transfer your site to someone else
  Make your site private so only people you invite can see it

  Thanks for your responses. I had figured out how to actually delete a blog and that the username was probably UAMSGME, but I don’t know what email is associated with the account. When I request a password reset, it isn’t showing up in any of the accounts I currently have (and I did check junkmail/spam). I was hoping this post might attrack someone from WordPress, since I have seen no way to contact their help.
